The 1st XI defeated Bramhall in the league on Saturday.

Jack Smith hit a fine hundred and the bowlers then shared the wickets around after tea. A 25 point haul plus indifferent results for the sides above has seen Neston close to within 8 points of the lead with two games still to play - game on.

Sunday saw the 1st XI demolished by Alderley Edge in the Cheshire Cup semi final at Parkgate.

There was heartache for Don Hurst's mighty Silverbacks too as they lost out by just 2 runs in the 40's final on Monday.
