End of season award winners announced

At a very well attended presentation evening, the following awards were made by Cricket Chairman Phil Davis:

1st XI - Jack Smith (Player's Player), David Hurst (Young Player), Jordan Free (Captain's Player).

2nd XI - Matthew Knight (Player's Player), Cameron Lea-Swain (Young Player), Ritchie Palmer (Captain's Player).

3rd XI - Bob Yardley (Player's Player), Mike Thompson (Young Player), Owen Llewellyn (Captain's Player).

4th XI - Doug Chadwick (Player's Player), Matty Wilson (Young Player), Julian Jacobs (Captain's Player).

Ladies XI - Claire Smith (Player), Abbey Gore (Young Player).

Over 40's player of the season - Peter Barber.

Under 17's player of the season - Andy Murphy.

Chairman's award for the outstanding contribution to the section during 2009 - Andy Crick.

Chris Finegan also received an award at the conclusion of a highly successful playing career with Cheshire County Cricket Club and, having finally decided to call time, Stan Clifford a special presentation in recognition of his quite outstanding playing career at Parkgate.
